What do you think?

iris for best girl B)

Seven years ago, Aethren lost everything. Her childhood, her home, and her family.
On the run for years, a chance encounter soon causes her to embark on an adventure much bigger than she expected it to be, as she aims to discover the truth behind the one thing she has left from her past:
A special amulet she received from her brother.

The Light Scorned, partly inspired by Bravely Default, will feature:

  • An expansive story that follows Aethren in her adventures in Arkhalis

  • Up to 33 different classes to use and experiment with

  • A menu that displays detailed information about characters in the story

  • Plenty of interactions between the main party members

  • And more!

Please Note:

This is currently a demo, and only the first chapter is playable.

Update on the game!

Chapter 4 has been completed! Production's been a little slow with my work ethic and new stuff I'm putting into the game, but hopefully I can find my footing with this and get closer to completing the game.

More info in the comments!

Minor update regarding my game here:
Originally, I did not intend to put as much effort into this game as I'm now about to, but I'm going to try and put some art of mine in the game!
I might post some designs I got for some of the characters later, idk.

Update on The Light Scorned!

Chapter 3 is now complete! I also have a mental roadmap of the game and can say for sure that the game will have about 9 chapters total. Working on Chapter 4 right now, and hopefully will finish soon!

Update on The Light Scorned!

The second chapter of the game is finally complete!

Chapter 2 will feature an adventure in the desert kingdom of Ghalmar, and will introduce five new classes!

Just something to look forward to!

Check comments for more info!

Found a tiny issue:

You can accidentally end the demo early by crossing the bridge after completing Blackroot Woods. I can't exactly fix this (for the demo at least), so just avoid this bridge!

Sorry about that...

Pretty minor progress report here!

T'would seem that my original plan of having 24 classes in my game has somewhat... expanded...

There's now going to be 29! So, there's that I guess...
